About the piece
From the well-known side portrait Jean Weinberg took in the 1920s: the swept-back hair, the sharp brow, the deep gaze, the line of the nose and chin. The public-domain original was reduced to a three-tone stencil portrait; the ground is the red of the flag.
Close to square, for a study, a classroom or a living-room wall.
