Istanbul’s best-known morning, divided into four squares: tea in the tulip glass, a sesame simit, a seagull perched on a railing and a ferry crossing over. The four pieces are sized to hang 2 × 2; in the left column the edges of the tea and the seagull line up exactly, and in the right column those of the simit and the ferry.
All four come in the same frame. Hung 5 cm apart, they form a single composition of about 65 × 57.5 cm; for a kitchen, dining room or hallway wall.
