About the piece
The portrait in uniform from 1930: the turned head, the collar insignia and the medal on the chest. Built from the public-domain photograph in nine warm greys and 54 × 71 blocks; the faded print was opened up so the face reads clearly.
Tall and large: for an office, a meeting room or an institution’s entrance.

Making, delivery and payment
Your piece is made by hand to order; delivery takes 10 days, making and shipping included. When it is finished we send you photos and a video, then wrap it in foam and ship it free in a sturdy box. We email you the payment details when we reply to your request. Every piece comes with a certificate-of-authenticity card, signed and numbered in the workshop. Pieces that arrive undamaged cannot be returned or exchanged; if a piece is damaged in transit we repair it or make it again. Details: Delivery and returns.
Care
- Choose a dry wall out of direct sunlight.
- Remove dust with a soft, dry brush; do not use water or cleaning spray.
- When hanging, use a wall plug that will take the weight.
