About the piece
The best-known painting in Turkish art: a dervish in a red robe, a ney (reed flute) in his hand, tortoises at his feet, in a dim room of the Green Mosque in Bursa. The original painting, in the public domain, was reduced to ten colours and translated into blocks.
Tall and upright: for the main wall of a living room or study.
